DANGAR ISLAND: Wonderful to take the kayak across or the local ferry service to visit Dangar Island... A great place to stretch your legs and or have a superb breakfast or morning/afternoon tea at the doorstep of the ferry service.

 DANGAR BOWLING CLUB Known only to the locals (they do a wonderful Sunday roast), located in the Middle of Dangar Island with adjoining park and playground. Weekends only 99857083 advance bookings essential. Can catch local ferry service at your doorstep and ask to be dropped off at Dangar (see timetable) 

Several great local fish restaurants in Brooklyn eat in or take away. You can buy liquor at the local bottle shop and BYO.
